Zombies Could Happen

I have been playing Dead Island (360) since it has come out and I have many other zombie games and I have a large selection of Zombie films, and a number of books (Max Brooks) and while playing a bit of Dead Island today It got me thinking, could the zombie outbreak really happen?

To start of with what would be the zombie virus for one thing would it be biological, natural virus, extraterrestrial if it was one of these things how it effect humans would it be like most zombie rules the person infected will die then be reanimated by the virus, or it could null the persons nerve scenes so they don't feel pain. Also would they follow another rule of zombies in which to stop the zombie "you have to remove the head or destroy the brain."

Another thing would be how the people first come infected with the virus and how it is transferred to other people. This is a age old thing in zombies films where they don't know how it is started in most films that is, but the question would be how it would start of by someone injecting them self with a new drug, eating some form of new plant or breathing in some form of gas. Then the next question would be how it is next transferred from person to person would it be the main one and transferred by bites from the infected person or simple scratch (I think that would be stupid) the other ways would the transfer or injection of the infected blood or fluid into the other persons body.

This is a small look at zombies and if they could happen I may come back to this on another day.

Zombie survival

Now most people have a zombie plan but one thing i notice is that they don't have back up plans or what if plans, if the the zombie Apocalypse happens which i believe could well happen. When i get asked what my zombie plan is i always say it depends on where i am at the time of the outbreak of the zombies, because depending on where you are at the time of it all can really change how you implement your zombie plan. there are 10 key factors(not in any particular order) you got to take into place are:

1. Environment/Location
2. Time
3. Transport
4. People
5. Zombie
6. Health/Fitness
7. Combat Skills
8. Weapons
9. Knowledge
10. Destination

With these factors i will go into them later and explain my zombie plans
